There aren't any 2x2 clumps of plains. All of those that would otherwise be 2x2 plains have
other plains tiles directly adjacent to them, thus making them more than 2x2. Except the ones
by the corner bases, but if you break the pipeseam then that tile becomes plains and
invalidates its status as 2x2.

But wtf 2x2 clumps of 3* defence terrain? And in the center where units will be fighting. I'd
add Lash to the definate ban pile, or maybe move the pre-owned silo tiles?

I don't understand why people put so many Labs on a map. Especially scince you already
start with one so close to your home territory. Can someone explain to me why you would
waste your time attempting to capture the four that are in the center road ring?

Because, on maps with no HQ's that have labs instead, if all of the labs under your control
are captured, you lose. It's basically like having mulitple HQs, except when one is captured,
you don't lose.

Bear Trap is right. If someone manages to take your main lab, it means he is sitting
outside your factories with artillery+tanks, so it doesn't matter if you have other labs.

Multiple labs are fine when done right, but this map is an example of how not to do them.

you need to add more labs or the lab concept is kinda pointless (since you'll be setting
up your forces in one area while your lab's in another)
