If someone here can figure out the concept for which this map was made (because it has
something special about it), then you win AWBW. Reward for winning AWBW to be disclosed later.
Also, this was made using Headphone's map maker.

It looks a bit like a Mandelbrot set??
walkerboh01 (12/18/2011 08:53pm):
Nah although it kind of does, you're right. The concept has something specific to do with AWBW.

Reminds me of contact, somehow. like uh... disconnection forbidden? or something? x3

The land shape looks a bit like the border of a sideways Yin Yang symbol. The opposing
forces light and dark of Yin and Yang are similar to the two sides fighting in AWBW. Just a
guess, probably not right.

It's two fighter sprites? Or there abouts anyway, which is the icon for AWBW on a web
walkerboh01 (03/15/2013 12:13am):
Nah, it's nothing cool like that (I wish I was artistic enough to work that into my maps).
It has more to do with how the capture phase plays, specifically. I'm sure many people have
noticed it but didn't realize I did it on purpose haha.

I just got what's so cool about the capture phase here after like a year haha. Wow.

Share the secret! You might have found something else that I never actually intended. =p

really small, dynamic capture phase
walkerboh01 (07/09/2014 02:55am):
Okay, I'm sharing the secret for real, before I forget it forever. The trick is that it's possible for
AB to immediately counter GS's first vehicle with a battle copter if they do the capture phase
This is pretty unusual (most maps work by allowing you to counter with a tank and then get your
2nd tank before the other person gets theirs). I think some other maps unintentionally allow
opening moves like this, but this one was intentional, and I think it has some interesting
implications considering the utility of bcopters and the heavy terrain on the map.

Played 2 non fog league games here versus opponents from top of league and there was a lot of standoff.
Only some bad overextending and resulting counterattack helped charge powers which gave players hope to
go for more attack and get lucky timing with SCOP to gain advantage.
Actually i think this map would be much better played in fog as the long diagonal frontline could give more
chances for out manoeuvring.
