10/10 for pointless corner base.
And you just love naming your maps numbers, huh? haha
|Wareagle 3 (07/25/2011 03:11pm):|
Well, i was in two minds whether to keep the bases or not, so i'll get rid of them.
Aye, naming maps isn't my strong point, i'll come up with something soon though.

Haha yeah they didn't really add anything to the map.
My only worry with maps like this is that if a base trade occurs, there's no way to have a battle,
since they're separated by islands. To that effect, connecting the islands in the center with a 4-5
tile wide shoal bridge-ish land mass might be good.

Hrmm, a good point. I'll have a tinker around on my DS and see if i can sort something out.

This is a classic map! Just finished a game. I'll be using the ying yang (sp?) concept in a map
I'[m making now. Lots of fun!

Added a couple of shoal bridges in case of a base switch. The landers are slightly less
useful now they should still come in handy early on though.

Cheers to the two 10 raters :) i appreciate it. The map is named after a variety of apple tree i
grow which has just produced it's first crop, beautiful fruit they are too.

This is a good map. It's an improved concept from Soft Connection
http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=53599 which is literally flawed with
balance issue imo. Personally I'm surprise that the number of cities turn out just nice
despite how many they were added in this map.
Though I have not played with or fought with Kindle, she might be OP in this map. So far this
map played best with low-tier CO.

This is one of my all-time favorite maps for sure. Every match I played on this map was
awesome. Good job!
