Does it cost money to play?
No.
How can I help?
Just by playing! It's helpful for people to test the game right now and report any bugs. Also, check the forum for help requests.
How does this system work?
AWBW and FEBW are entirely web based. There is no need to download anything in order to play. Most browsers should work just fine. To perform most game functions, click on a unit or building and choose a command from the menu that pops up. When you're done, click the 'End Turn' link. When it becomes your turn again, you'll receive an email notifying you of that.
I want to give you money, how can I?
There is no need to pay anything to play AWBW or FEBW. They're completely free. I created the site because I love the games and because I enjoy working on web versions of them. If, however, you feel you'd like to do something you can use the Donate page.
Why am I getting an Invalid Access to Page error?
This typically happens if you refresh or reload a game page. It can also happen if you mess around with the URL. Don't do that! It can also happen because of the way some firewalls are set up. See this topic in the forum for more details.
AWBW
How do I unload units?
To unload a unit, click on the transport. The information box that pops up will display any units it's carrying. Click on the unit you wish to unload. Red squares will be displayed where you can unload. Click on one of those squares and the unit will be dropped there.
FEBW
How do I attack?
Move the attacking unit next to the target. Then select the weapon you wish to attack with. Finally, click on the target to attack. When selecting the target, as you highlight the target units, a box with combat information will appear. Note that you can attack enemies that are one space away if you're using magic, a hand axe, a bow or a javelin to attack with. | See: Topic above.
