Map Creation

Anyone with an account on AWBW can make maps. Each account may have up to 30 maps. You can either edit your maps with AWBW's custom editor, or upload your maps from another editor.

To start, first click on design maps on the left toolbar. Next, you will see a page like this.

From here you may edit any maps you have previously made, or make a new map. Just choose a map name, number of players, and dimentions of your map. Take care not to choose more players than players the map will hold, or you will create an unstartable map.

If you are editing a previously made map, clicking on Edit Map will bring the map up in AWBW's editor. Take note that you may not edit a map that currently has games being played on it. If this happens, your only recourse is to unpublish your map, and wait for the games to finish.

You may also delete your maps by clicking Delete Map. Again, if games are being played on your map, you will not be able to delete it.

Lastly, there is the unpublish and publish options. Both hold the same spot, and are a toggle of sorts. Clicking Publish Map will publish your map, which will let others create a game on it. Unpublish Map will unpublish your map, and will take your map out of the maps available to start.
