I think the map is very cool, a bit big for 2 players but that might just be me, either way. at the comtowers where your mech and my neotank are i think adding like 1 or 2 shoal tiles would make stalls less likely since theres no way of passing with just ground direct units. I also think the income is ludicrously high, made worse by how it's only the 6 island bases that make good use of it so a slower income curve would be nice either by removing and spacing cities or reducing the income given per city, i think around 50-54k per player should do the trick. I would also remove the port that my lander is on so theres only one harbor since battleships absolutely dominate that area. I also think moving the pipe seams behind the harbor could allow some interesting battleship mid-games just make sure the 2 harbors are atleast 13 tiles apart (or less with reefs) because battleship cheese. however if you decide to keep the 2 harbors, then atleast give the weak base an airport. although it should probably be on an island of its own making it more of a risky play, also probably replace the shoal that my rocket is on with a mountain so you cant harbor lock your opponent, same for the other harbor its a bit too easy especially with 4 com towers. I've also seen maps with lategames that revolve around a center island. Right now the island is pretty much owned by whoever gets it first but with a bigger island it would be easier for the second player that arrives to also contest it. Now, personally i think 4 com towers is too many that might just be me, but if we have 4 of em it would probably help spreading them out a bit (like a lonely island) or having atleast 1 of them be contestible would make the map more interesting. there are also some smaller things like increasing the unit limit (50 ain't enough) fixing the FTA (first turn advantage) by giving blue a few free infantry, and maybe also moving the bases closer to the mainland (although that might just be me :P).
All in all i like the map i usually don't play a lot of really endgamy maps but this one's interesting. Sorry for the wall of text, came out longer than anticipated, have a nice day.

Also it would ban olaf, eagle and hawke in potential non tier-3 matchups, since olaf is just unfun with constant snow (dont even get me started on olaf mirrors), eagle because hes literally the best non-broken CO on such a big map, and hawke cuz global damage+repair is again broken on such a big map. Consideration for drake, but rain isn't as bad as snow, fuel drain annoying tho.

Also ban black bombs unless you want both players to spam constant nukes at each other.

i agree with a lot of your ideas im thinking of moving some of the ports around and having them replace some of those choke point move tiles, also thinking of replacing a com tower with a forward base but i kind of like the supply lines you create from the far back bases
