sooo the idea here is to have pathways for blackboats. to add to it, there is the fault
line running through the map at an angle. the map may look super cluttered, but because of
shoals everywhere it actually makes it very open.

I look forward to playtesting on this as soon as I reduce the amt. of games I have.

suggestions and such are welcome :)

The concept definitely is very cool as it is quite original. But an APC is worthier than a
Black Boat (and Landers do not make ANY sense instead), even though it has got a shorter
move range. It is less expensive and can move on land tiles.
The ability of a Black Boat to block passages is not that necessary here because you could
just leave it behind by moving around it.

Finally, as the Black Boats don't give any advantages, I don't see the point of
implementing that concept?

well, I did make 2 small islands only accessible by black boat/lander, and they both have
airports on them, so if you were to control both airports you could make invincible units.

plus black boats have the added advantage of +1 heals and loading 2 infantries instead of
just 1, so if you made a mech/infantry one day you can load them both then unload them.

but yeah the purpose of the map is to make black boats get more use, and the incentive to
build them is the small islands as well as infantry mobility late game and heals/meatshields

maybe for more incentive I should add another city to the island? actually, I think I may
as well do that.

Main problem with this map is that the bases are all so far away from where the front is. It takes 2-3 days to get a
unit from the corner bases to the center of the map where the fighting is, which really impedes gameplay. If the
bases were moved closer this map would be much better. I'd say 7/10 right now, with the bases closer probably a
9 (i'd have to play it again to be sure).
