This map might have quite of potential imo. Not sure about the funding though. If I have to
suggest, I would prefer add another city for each side. Having too low of funding would be
a problem i think because it's not just building unit but to use the fund in repairing
units, and strategic place to repair units as well.
Roswell the Black Rose (02/10/2012 08:45am):
well, i increased the fund to 19k. i think it's fairly high for a 2 base map, maybe high
tech units will be more viable.
airob (02/10/2012 02:49pm):
Reminds me of anubys. arty spam ftw! :D
walkerboh01 (02/10/2012 05:07pm):
Interesting. The only things I'd be worried are artillery shenanigans since the bases are so close
together and the terrain is so heavy.
xushu (02/10/2012 05:23pm):
^-- what airob said. It looks pretty cool, though. I definitely like the city-islands (and that has
nothing to do with the fact I like 4-shoaled properties >_>)~
airob (02/10/2012 10:10pm):
Just a note: the pipe next to the shoals looks kind of ugly, not that it dramatically affect the
Also i wonder if the isles with stuff will get captured with fronts so tight as these.
Angry Birds (02/10/2012 10:17pm | Edited: 02/10/2012 10:18pm):
no this map won't be like anubis, there are airports, and only 2 bases per
side(though I intended to put bases in the corner in the beginning XD).
i think the battle will mainly develop in the center, there are contested cities and
open terrain. as it's a 2-base map with airport and high income, i think arty spam
won't be a good choice.
oops... I forgot to log in properly... I'm roswell...
Roswell the Black Rose (02/10/2012 10:22pm):
I removed that ugly pipes, they don't have exact reason to exist anyway. Yeah the fronts
are very tight, so I put a lander.
walkerboh01 (03/26/2012 03:48pm):
I agree, it will probably be in the center. But with the way those mountains are laid out, you can
probably do some pretty mean things with arties. Not saying it's a bad thing per se, just
something to keep an eye on.
7/10 from me.
