Each symbol is a different shape and has a different amount
of cities to make the shape. Some more, some less (I'm
looking at Colin) with no extra cities to stay consistent with
the outline of the symbol box, purely for aesthetics. That's
what I assume anyway.

Nah, I think we're chill right now.
I got Black Bombs ready to stall that last comm tower. He
has an unprotected comm tower island close to my units
near the bottom, which I can get on next turn and cap some
of his comm towers. I don't think he'll block them, since I
haven't appeared interested in it yet, but I want to be prepared
when I drop on it.
Also, I want to beat Black Hole.

Orange is struggling enough against purple already, which is
partly my fault since my meteors keep hitting him even
though move planner says it should hit elsewhere :/
But I did notice purple built stealths, which could be a
problem if he just blocks the comm towers (good thing Black
Bombs exist).
I will try to divide my attention 60-40 (black-purple) to keep
purple in check.

After I take out nova which should be very soon hopefully he quits

Well, that was an expected outcome. It's nice when people
take the L in a big match, but it doesn't happen much. I try to
stick it out in those scenarios (unless it's out of nowhere
team betrayal, I really don't like that) for the other persons
sake.
If they beat you fair and square, I see no reason to deny them
the HQ cap, but that's just me. 1v1 is different though. No
need to play if you absolutely no chance of comeback. It
saves both players time.
