There's no better way to celebrate finishing the toughest week of the semester than making Advance Wars
maps, right? ...right?

Wind Resistance! A different sort of map where your airport is off to the side. There's plenty of cities off to the
side, but the enemy's airport is looming over there. Of course, taking the more central cities would give you a
strong foothold for an assault on the enemy lab, but those cities are easily assailable with the strong terrain
adjacent to them... and should you make a Missile to deny that Airport, or is it too expensive? Decisions,
decisions.

Critique is welcomed. I did consider switching the two airports to make the labs more vulnerable.

My first impression was bad because airport's invulnerability to capture, then I analyzed the
map and It shouldnt be too bad at all. Ratio of income per bases is decent but I think there is
too few mountains to help your vision in FoW, and the middle with silos and sea plus the
cities in the corners with the rivers didnt convince me (at least aestethically).
Lastly, I dont see the reason behind using labs instead of HQs, because capturing labs will
not provide victory but just income without repair features. If ending isnt the purpose,
consider using com towers. Capturing would be worthwile and wont finish the game
And dont switch the airports, they are too close from lab and could develop in a boring and
mindless rush because the inhability to stop the advance

I checked the Wiki page, and it says the following about labs.
"Labs allow you to build lab units. If a player had labs but no headquarters, losing all of their labs will result in
losing the game." Has this changed at some point? If so, I can easily switch them for HQs and start the airports
uncaptured with Infantry on them (because 4000 funds means a day 1 recon and FTA).

I made some aesthetic adjustments; namely, the rivers should now flow into the sea tile, implying they're flowing
from the mountain to the sea. I also put a mountain in the center because the sea tile looked ridiculous and
mobility for Infantry and Mechs shouldn't be a problem.

In FOW if you rely only on mountains for vision, you will surely lose the incentive.
Recons become much more useful then, as they can serve as an early-phase inf killer.
For this map, recons are not that easy to move around in the centre.
