How about more cities and less bases?
(06/19/2005 04:19am):
this is the point of the map, I have set this map like a disease. You capture one base and
build another troop = more bases and I don't know what I am talking about... this map isn't
suppose to be serious.

whats with the one Airport? it's a rush to get that first.

gay, the 2 ppl on the left get loads of terrain boosts and the ppl on the right just get
roads.

ok i think its good to have a couple of maps like this around at awbw ... and i like the simple
terrain division idea ... the simple stuff often plays well and is good training.
BUT one predictable problem is going to be sheer number of units ... you are gonna get
aching fingers and BORED moving so much spamm .... as happens with the map ".(TCS)
FACTORIES". So, not many people are gonna play this and any game may well go on forever
as is the case with the only game on the map ... been going for months ..what stamina.
SOLUTION -- just make it a lot smaller ,, and perhaps do a 2 or 3 player first. My small
factories map finished properly in about 10 days !! Just make a say 11x11 version with
same diagonal terraining idea and see how that goes.
Unfortunately the map-making guides at awbw are obsessed with certain topics which are
only relevant for super-master players and theres little basic information like recommending
new players to make mostly smallish maps, (its so much quicker to learn that way).
