This is a fog map.It is more suitable for FoW games.

This map is based on Battle_Copter's map,Tuck and Tumble:

Interesting map. The main battle in my game was always happening in the center though the top and bottom properties were
just as important.

Strong map design with many interesting strategies and possibilities. An easy 9/10 for me

Definitely an interesting map. It calls itself 'base light' and it really is: you never have enough units to cover all of the top, bottom, centre-top and centre-bottom fronts. There's a risk-reward play in terms of vision: you get a big advantage if you have infantry on mountains for scouting, but that leaves them at risk of being shot at and there aren't enough bases to replace them without compromising your vehicular firepower.

I've played a couple of T3 GL matches on this map, which have taught me why Rachel is a meta-pick on this one: there is a lot of open terrain, but the rivers hard-choke units into the top, bottom and middle and the forests soft-choke units away from the absolute centre of the map, forcing them all into clumps for her SCOP. Tough to play around, but not impossible.

This is going to sound bonkers, but I wonder if missiles are viable on this map? They can cover your opponent's airport from a relatively safe forest, utilising their own vision to spot the other side of the pipe while still supporting other units with vision. Anti-air are cheaper to get on the field, but harder to chase down air units with, given all the mountains and forests. Missiles might be a god midgame-to-lategame play if your opponent is going heavy on air units.

Going heavy on air units is definitely something I'd recommend here. Tank + infantry +
copter is a great way to get more infantry out that can reasonably deal with most
common builds and retains all the mobility that makes fog games interesting.

The missile you mentioned is definitely worth a thought - Fighting often happens in
that area, but if it's a fairly calm area in a game, then the strength of copters for unit
count here makes locking the airport a really strong play.

2 base maps suck in general. Cool terrain layout and concepts but I hate it. Not going to rate it negatively, just wanted to put
that out there.

Equal income (both player tied in income) = 20K

This map would be such a great map for Sami if it had 3 bases. Sami has a very high pick rate here but very low win rate.
Basically a Sami trap.

Why is there a love affair with small 2 base maps? I don't get it, I don't have fun playing on them. There is no major push. It all
revolves around small local victories building up into a unit count advantage. You kill one thing, then retreat, rinse repeat. Not
very dynamic, very frustrating to be fighting over the same properties again and again. Someone who actually loves this map
please explain why this over something larger, with 3 bases and more developed strong and weak fronts.

First game ever on this map and i won.
Was P2 (on the left side) with Eagle. At first, I was under espionage by enemy recon on my
airport (well that was my strategy too) and I've chosen to focus my money building up my troops
with my 2 bases. Then, I've tried to get the middle using artillery/rocket to zoning my
opponent (Max's weak point). At the end, my obj was to capture the opponent comm following
this "turtle" strategy and it works.

I Bet there's a lot of plans to do in this map, i love it!

This map makes me uncomfortable. The terrain is well made, with the river tiles indeed forcing
ground units to commit when you attack on any of the fronts, the mountains by the rivers being
high risk but high reward in the vision they bestow (t copters and mechs are great here), the
center being only marginally valuable and highly exposed from the mountains (except force any
artillery you park in the forests) and the roads enabling players to rotate quickly but at high risk
of being decimated if spotted.

Tough choices for a base light map. I like it.
9/10.
