Why the rivers on the left and bottom?

The rivers provide for a defense against tanks or mechanical units so top doesn't overwhelm the player too quickly.

Seems like red is doomed. I think even Kanbei would lose against all flaks on this map. Even with a unit cap with 100 reds gonna hit the cap. And the others won't, not as fast, they can all have 100 units, that's tough to beat. No matter what the matchup is.

My input would be only have 7 nations for smoother rounds and less chance for someone leaving. I'm seeing 16 nations total.

Nobody has said it yet, so I'm going to. The real issue with this is the CO Powers. Unit cap can always be turned off, but CO
Powers, it's 1 vs 15. Let's say all 15 play Drake/Olaf/Hawke. it takes 4 SCOP to take Oranges entire army down to 2 hp, they
can do that 3 times. Now obviously those guys should be banned, but even less powerful COs can still be a huge issue. 1
Sasha can completely take away Orange powers, and they gotta deal with all this? I don't even think Javier with 3 comm
towers can handle the 1v15.

In enjoy the asymmetrical concept, but it feels a little lazy. (looking at you, no-reason-side-river because creator couldn't be
bothered to remake the map at 35 instead of 36 width). Would like to see more terrain variation, less bases, and more tech
labs.

As others said, too many players, but an interesting experiment. Definitely no global damage CO's or soft-ban limit them to
maybe one per team.

0 Chance Orange Star can win right now. They start 5 bases to 15, meaning they'll be outproduced 3-1. All players can start
capping properties on their second turn as well, so Orange Star goes from 5-15 to 10-30 on turn 3.

"Still winnable?" You might think, but think again. OS has 6k starting income while the players have 2k each for a grand total of
30k. This will change to 11k to 45K income on turn 3. OS is at a disadvantage even if half the other players drop out instantly
