I wish this website had the music so when the big base is Sturm, the epic music plays. I never played anything other than
Advance Wars 1, so this map is only balanced with those units and COs in mind. I also imagined a fog of war with random
weather, but a lot of people seem to dislike that.

One big issue I'm seeing already is Acid Green is supposed to be the Naval player, but with so few properties around them they
wouldn't be likely to be able to help in the battle at all.

Either they need to start with more properties or this need to be set to high funds.

There should be a few more cities and labs to capture between black and the other players.

Black Hole can take com tower without difficulty with b and t copters. Sturm can control area around com tower using only b
copters and mech spamming with t copters. Nobody on left side has the economy to push through the bridge. There is no way
Black Hole cant get his lab. ¿Only one lab on allies right and left side? Each side of the map can only have 1 eagle/grit.

@Elolawyn I will move the Tower down more, probably to a point that one of the four southerners will get it right off the bat, and
Black Hole will have to fight for it. And the same will be done for the Lab, making it basically White Nova's property. Additionally,
I'll probably add more ocean stuff and make Green Acid more viable along with various land-based things. Although, it's only in
the specific game I set up that Black hole is Sturm and those specific units are locked behind a Lab.

Black Hole has more base than the allied force combined. Airport, lab (if we set option for it) and com tower which make
things easy for him.

Acid rain is useless without base but a port that is impossible to use well because of how expensive ship are, how low his
income is and how restricted naval unit are in this map

Purple lightning is barely useful, they can only build air unit but combined with their low income, they can't do much.


Also Black Home can if he want, saving a lot of build expensive unit that other can't contest with the lack of economy.

This map is designed to take a long time to finish. While it may be beneficial for a couple of players to drop out for the
benefit of their teammates, I would hope that people don't do that, because that's no fun.
I made this map with a few different settings presets in mind, but I also tried to make it as flexible as possible so that people
can play on it however they want. I never played Advance Wars 2 and don't know the units or COs from it, so use those units
on this map at your own risk.

As of now, this map has been updated. Iteration 2 features a few major changes and some small details.
Orange Star's (OS) HQ has been replaced with a Lab, and OS's old Lab has been converted into a neutral City.
Black Hole's (BH) Rockets and Missiles swapped locations and the Missiles was replaced with a Recon. Upon further
testing I might decide to move the Recon a few tiles to the left.
Neutral Cities have been placed as follows:
-4 to the North of BH. They look ugly there, so I might move them later. I think they're important for the balance, so I don't
really want to remove them.
-3 on brand new islands out at sea along with a neutral Base to provide Acid Rain (AR) a better eco later on.
-3 surrounding White Nova (WN) to give them a boost, but also to draw their infantry thin at the start, leaving a rush ever so
slightly more effective.
-2 among the Forests in the middle-left of the map.
Other changes include moving the Comm tower down to the other side of the river (I forgot to do that, actually, but I'll do it
as soon as I finish typing this), moving the northeastern Lab closer to WN so BH actually has to fight for it., the previously
mentioned island, and added Forests to the western mountain ranges.

Notes:
@Spash Black Hole has 15 Bases, 4 Cities, 1 Port, 2 Airports, and 1 HQ for a total of 23 properties. Allies have a total of 15
Bases, 4 Cities, 1 Port, 3 Airports, and 13 (previously 14) HQs, for a total of 36 properties. You likely forgot to count White
Nova, which is understandable, since they're out of the way. As for neutral properties, Allies have a lot more of those
available by a long shot. Even discounting Acid Rain and Purple Lightning, Allies still have more with their HQs.
As for Acid Rain, you are pretty much spot on. They take far too long to get the ball rolling with not enough pay off. Or, I
guess they did before I updated the map. Hopefully I've mostly fixed that problem.
The idea of Purple Lighting having three Airports is not intended for them to be able to produce three air units in a game
with normal income like the one we played together. That's for if whoever starts a game chooses a higher income. Each
Airport still provides some money in absence of that, however.

The aim of this map is not to make a tournament-level balanced map. It's to make a fun map that is balanced enough that
the victor will not be the same every time. As you all can probably see, the map was designed to take a very long time to
complete. The idea is that BH will have the advantage at the start because they can make better units, but since Allies have
more income overall, as long as they're patient and strategic, they can come out on top quite a lot more easily than it may
seem at first glance. I have always loved long games that require meticulous planning for the long run, and that's the kind of
map I'm trying to make. If anyone has any more suggestions or feedback, I'd love to hear more.

As of typing all this out, I have played one game on this map (in it's first version). I played as BH and had a lot of very
restrictive rules (such as indirect units and Fighters being Lab units and asking everyone to not choose Sturn because he's
the only one who looks cool as BH [it's subjective, and also a joke]), and unfortunately a lot of people timed out, which
seems common, unfortunately. I think it was more than half, so the data was not fully accurate. But the game also didn't go
on very long. With that limited data, I think BH would actually struggle to take out WN fast enough before the other countries
built up enough of an army to brute force their way through. I'm not sure, though, since we didn't finish the game. If anyone
wants my more in-depth take on the balance, go ahead and DM me (if that's a thing on this site). In the meantime, I'll be
playing a few games from the Allies' side to check out the balancing and nuances there.
