Recommended for FoW PROS - fiercely contested, asymmetric comm towers. - surprisingly useful central mountain. - top corner bases can provide intel. - three unique fronts 1. North vs. North: battle-intensive, due to proximity of bases/airports. 2. South vs. South: more open, allows for more clever maneuvering. 3. North vs. South: a "minor" front in early game, more complex later on. Feedback is welcome |

The placement of the com towers doesn't really work – they're much easier to defend than they are to attack, especially with Fog of War on, so whoever takes them early will be at a big advantage. (In particular, in the North, it's quite hard to push into the opposing territory with the bases so close, so indirects are very good for defending.) The South versus South front takes a long time to get going; North versus South is actually more relevant in the early game (even if it's just infantry and recons trying to prevent each other capturing the cities near the pipe). The fact that there's only one base, and it's very far from the action, means that it's almost impossible to build up a critical mass for attack, so units entrenched in the South are very difficult to dislodge (and generally the winner there will be whoever has an economic advantage, allowing them to deploy bigger units). |
