Looks good, but AB having to send his first infantry to a suboptimal city makes me suspect slight STA. |
Pinwheel_OP (12/18/2021 12:05pm):
Changed the preowned city to reduce STA |

Blackboats as blockers plus the 1 tile wide chokepoints means the 1 base side isn't too difficult to defend. Also since airports come into play really late you can't really use air support to overrun the 1 base side early. That plus the middle being within close proximity to the airports and the middle base means it tends to be somewhat stally. I'm personally not a big fan. The only match I have yet played on this map was a loss to be fair |

Pretty good start for player 2. Free 4K & 2 Turn Early Start on Factory. Player 1 gets scammed. |

This is a correct FTA counter for high funds @Dyslexic Lizard and has been proven to work on many other high fund maps |

Looking at how the funds increase with perfect infantry movement, I would conclude that P2 does have an advantage. They're 1 turn ahead of P1 |

The map is kinda forcing you to build indirects, arty for the airport... rockets, bboat + mass infantry to defend the single base front. Also the contested cities are not really contested, i think some of the central properties including the labs should be moved to create more tension in centre and so a reason to actually go there. |
