You can still go back to those starting areas with a Mech and some dedication. It will take a while, but its something you CAN do if... you want. If you release your fighter it can be a great tool for taking out another players bcopter or scout vision or hit an enemy fighter~ it adds a fun little spice that makes it unique experience. APC can still fuel fighters. Could even expand on the idea and add airports to the map that can not build units, only repair. I've seen it done with a unit glitch on a different map. Hmmmm. Now that I'm trying out the map I wonder if the issues with TP'n to the bottom of the map wouldn't be fixed if the teams were set along different edges then just the top. This could provide the extra space for simple "mech release timer" with a mech and APC next to seems and a trapped fighter. That way it would be a set turn before fighter release more equally. worth investigation. |

btw you cant ghost airports if there is 16 players as you will need a team that has no HQ to place ghost units onto airports to make them not provide income/to buy from |
