For fog. The idea when creating this map was to win either by getting the two contested airport or by breaching the center. I hope you'll have fun Edit: some of my testing partners have suggested making the com towers more contested. I may put the between the hq and airport in the near future. Edit two : made center less chockepointy and added a contested property and some terrain between airport and hq to force some fights |

This looks like a Sami-heavy map. Sami is probably T1 here in standard. Maybe remove one of the factories from each side. I think it's be most interesting to remove the factory nearest the HQ. |

Sorry for the late response. Nintendo Direct kept me busy last night. 😅 So, thoughts on this map. I'd say the idea of having contested airports is OK on a low funds Fog map (moreso with Stealths out of the equation), but right now I'd say they are the sole focus of this map as there is little incentive to traverse through the center until you're done securing a corner. Also, the forest tile adjacent to the corner mountain, near the airport, is perfect for Artillery units to sit on and protect the airport from enemy capture. I imagine it'd be super rough to break through and hit an arty in that spot with direct attacks. If it were me, I would try to revamp the terrain around the airport to prevent artillery from being too good at holding the position down. You generally want to be cautious when placing forest tiles, or any heavy terrain for that matter. Taking out a forest tile or two and replacing some mountains with rivers can help make certain areas, like the airports here, feel more exposed and less trivial to defend. This is more important in Fog games, since too many forests will discourage attacks and encourage defending more, leading to stalemates and boring games. Besides that, I feel like the map and funding are a bit too small / low for 3 bases and 1 airport, but it's also tough to pinpoint a base that can be taken out, so dunno.
