Codym (04/21/2006 05:18pm):
This map is a 3 on 4 (2 teams) map. It's OS/BM/GE vs. YC/GS and RF/BH. First off all teams have 5 turns to prepare. On turn 6 you are allowed to attack the western wall pipeseams, meaning BH and RF can attack OS/BM/GE but YC and GS have to continue building their forces. On turn 12 the eastern wall pipeseams (including the ones blocking the missile silos) can be destroyed. (On turn 50 I learn that this map was way too complicated.) The basis is that the leaders of YC and GS have bounties on their heads, and they have hired mercenaries (BH and RF) to help them defeat the bounty hunters OS, BM, and GE. The reason BH/RF are on a separate team is to prevent FoW from benefiting YC/GS for them. Remember that BH and RF are only on a funding agreement and if the players so wish, there can be a bit of backstabbing among the teams (BH and RF can agree with OS/BM/GE to revolt and the fight is suddenly 5 on 2; this helps to make a fight a bit more unpredictable) One important rule - you are NOT allowed to use indirect fire over the pipes until the pipeseams are destroyed. This rule is to make sure that it plays out right and those trying to gain access don't get shot down at every attempt. I forsee a match here - Nyvelion and Zero212 (with 2 other Zero212 fanboys/fangirls) against three other challengers. What do you think, Nyvelion? Interesting? |
