carrier ban is such a bizarre recommendation here. It can't even move. Sure it's got a big forward range but it doesn't cover anything useful. The HQ I guess?

@Rock Golem I think it's to prevent a carrier being built at the other port near each
corresponding strong side so that you can use an aircraft to defend HQ if you want

Aye; agree with Rock Golem, though I do have a bias against air dominance ^^;

Shame that there's no b-boat drop-off possibility for the two-city island in the corners; would make building one useful beyond some meagre re-suppling & repairing and maybe taking your opponent's comm tower in the other corner, which itself is very unlikely given the proximity of their main airport to their comm tower island :/ Oh, and some walling, it goes without saying XP Regardless of that nit-pick of mine, this definitely doesn't deserve that 1 rating, so I'll rate 10 to offset - would likely rate 8 otherwise - especially since the carrier ban is outside of the map-maker's control, and so shouldn't be taken into consideration for ratings.
Edit: Oh, gods it was THREE ratings of 1! O.O

Ban aircraft carrier is a map design issue, as its firepower range can just cover HQ, let alone a HQ rush map. I don't know why,
robots always randomly come to this map and may enter the league rotation pool? The recent rotation pool maps are all HQ
rush maps, which make it easy to fall asleep

Sturm is very strong here, feel like his capture game is too good to pass up on in
T2, early cap chains into easy middle reinforcement. Not gonna pretend like I know
what I'm talking about in high funds, but was there any reason in particular they
decided to leave him in for Glen cup?

Bad map for 1st player. Player 2 can forward capture many cities with their men creating a snow ball affect and player 2 gets
4k income lead and 2 movement of men which delays Player 1 turns very significantly in the capture game. Player 2 will end
up owning 60% - 80% of the map in terms of tiles ( it touched of cities) and I’m not a fan of having the shoal area island with 2
cities on it. I’m also
not a fan of Player 1 and Player 2 counter plays between P1 black boat vs P2 t copter. P1 objective in slowing down the left
side island is a black boat because it will be much worse without it. Starting position and make creation is very lenient towards
2nd player. It would also be nice if the map was 2 tiles longer to you switch sides on a black boat which recommends shoals
beside the air port island unless you want sea tile for heavier ships to move also.
