@Ghengis_Flan: River tiles are a poor-mans way of making it so the shoreline texture doesn't render. It looked... odd... with it. @Patashu:Yeah. I actually looked up your "Hash" map prior to running with this, because I was sure I'd seen the idea somewhere. Given it's a generic shape and I purposefully had wanted to skew it anyway, I decided to run with it. But feel free to take it as a compliment anyway. :) Actually, the real reason for the map is my games for the AB folks (www.alwaysblack.com) just ended. I wanted to give them a good showing for the next game without relying on someone else's mapping skills. |
