Best map of the whole tournament.

Interesting, but if I'm not mistaken, it can be up to luck rolls if a player gets the neutral bases or not - which is a problem here due to the high amount of neutral bases.

So let's assume regular 100/100 COs and let's say both players send an Inf to the (04,02) base and its mirror to start capping/contesting it. Since the other player can only interrupt the capping Inf from zero-star-terrain, one possible outcome could be that the capping Inf is left with 7 HP and the attacking one with 6 HP. If that happens, the capping Inf should get the base if it just keeps capping (unless maybe if the other player has built a Recon beforehand or sent another Inf).

If, however, the capping Inf is left with 6 HP and the attacking one with 7 HP, the capping Inf will likely not get the base if it keeps capping (it still might happen with the right luck rolls though which once again is not ideal). So if one player lucks out and gets that base while the other does not get its mirror, that would be a really unfortunate outcome.

I think with the bases surrounded by forests it's also up to luck if the capture goes through (although to a lesser degree). So the main problem here is that there are so many contested bases and you have to guess which luck rolls could end up not in your favor - and if you guess wrong and don't send reinforcements to the base where the luck rolls were not in your favor, you might be at a severe disadvantage right away.

Thanks Monty for explaining the problem I came to complain about. No comm tower on a contested base map is indeed cancer. Preowned comm tower would fix the problem.
