A pre-deployed lander would fix some of my gripes with this map. Fight for the center is awkward, so are
the two fronts near either HQ. Overall, needs work

This is a very TheGamerASD style map. Seemingly short reinforcement
routes blocked off to make a small map play bigger.

As a 2b1a, it plays okay. Generates central conflict, with fairly minor
distractions on the side.

I really hate these maps that make it a damn chore to reinforce like this by putting a ton of terrain in the way. Can we please
stop putting these in the map pool? Why do we need to make the game frustrating to play?

I personally think that the slow reinforce times to incentivize lander use makes for an interesting feel. The additional logistics
for planning around when the next ferry arrives is a nice twist.



I would suggest adding another loading point on the friendly shore so that late game you can have more options for the trip to
the front.

For a 2b1a map, this is probably one of my favorites. Lower income, disruptive terrain to impede reinforcing, and a middle
actually worth fighting for - enough to build a b.boat in some cases. The only big turn off for me is allowing Sami on this map
for t3 games - it's a bit of an odd choice, given this map is almost perfect for a CO like her. The low income allows your
infantry to get substantially more value, B.Boat to ferry over mechs is surprisingly cost efficient, and once you get to about
17k income, you can just out pressure your opponent by teching up to med. tanks + infantry or tank + infantry + B.copter. I'm
just not sure why she was brought down a tier.

Don't listen to TestingCarp. Sami is trash here. Tank chains are op and Lash will just bull doze
her. Andy heal strats wreck her too. Mechs don't have enough natural cover and there's not
enough inf around to wall for them.

On another note, I quite like this map. I'm a sucker for 2 base but it has nice qualities. The long
reinforcement path requires careful consideration. Landers are also quite viable in the mid
game. The spread out cities means there's many potential targets to be interrupted. Overall it's
pretty decent.

Well fuck me specifically I guess. Idk man I think the dense city cluster near the middle of the map, including 3 within 2 move of
a mountain (which your mech can get on the turn after being dropped off) is really powerful. a tank on a city still takes 5-6
damage from a sami mech +1com, which already more than earns itself back. And while it's sitting on that mountain, it's also
resilient to other infantry (that you can't afford to throw away anyway due to the 2b1a nature of the map). I just don't get why
you'd mess with the tier chart at all.

This really is just a tank spam map. Like to the point that once one player gains tank advantage on one side (like forcing your
opponent to build an AA for example), the game is effectively over. Yes you can try to save it by building a md tank, but your
unit count is going to be trash from everything else getting killed off and eventually your opponent will have such superiority
that they can afford to start tanking on the other side too while you can't. Kinda dumb really.

Sami is a very map specific co. Turns out a base light map with very wide fronts doesn't exactly
favor her mech, inf, arty playstyle. Yes her mechs are very strong in certain contexts, but if you
just throw them in the middle then your opponents tanks will just wreak havok on the
flanks. I agree that tank spam is op here which Sami is particularly poor at.

If you look at other base light maps Sami is often moved to t3 on those maps as well. On
Caustic Finale which is a 4 base map with constant inf battles she goes up to t1. She's a very
unique co in that way.

Early on in awbw history she was considered t0 since the maps were played with such a low
funding to base ratio. As the meta developed we learned that inf spam isn't very fun so the
funds to base ratio went up and Sami's weaknesses showed.

Yes, Sami's mechs are insane when they get to shoot tanks and camp on mountains but due to
the nature of the map it's very easy for your opponent to just ignore them and attack cities
away from those mechs. She's likely to get stuck in a tank brawl where she's just at a firepower
disadvantage. She can't invest in copters until the mid game so utilitizing the bcopter, aa, tank
triangle is not a viable alternative. 2 base and wide fronts also make her arty very difficult to
use here too. For all these reasons I don't consider Sami a very strong pick on this map, even in
t3

Need to even out fred. Maybe give red a city for fred to capture and some black boats or landers on both HQ.

Just played this map and all i can say is just spam inf and capture .when they started to spawn
tank then go buy a lander the turn you get 14k.their tank will took 2 turn to reinforce the side.
While you can just play the sides defenselively to reinforce and capture the middle.
Which will help later cause that middle lane force can just prevent any capture to the middle.
and also can quicky reinforce the sides much quicker and flexible.

Also dont take this as a pro advise im new here.just saying my opinion base on my experience.

I think Max is too strong in this map. He just plowed through so easily. Or maybe it could be my
fault too since I did too many blunders.
