@likegel - I don't see the HQ cheese. Infantry can interrupt within 2 turns. Airport is also 7 squares away. Great map for live play. 6 cities in the middle are very contestable. I gave it a 10/10 |

Nice humor friedchicken but it is bad. 2nd player has tempo. Map would be better with blackboats on HQ. The HQ is the high ground. Another ground base would be nice but it would not be a light base map. Yes there is HQ cheese of unbalance. |

F minus Map. 2nd player gets tempo and gets all those high defense tiles in the center. Map is too short and isn’t contested. |

Turn 5 P2 tank P1 bcopter Turn 6 P2 has to baseskip for AA and P1 bcopter is already on the center https://awbw.amarriner.com/game.php?games_id=1468423 It is ABBA starting at turn 4, but P1 just gets an advantage by going straight bcopter as first vehicle because P2 can't afford a tank and AA back to back (the city skip i did has no effect on this) Either fix the funding curve or decentralize the airport i guess |

Yeah, I agree that there is quite noticeable Copter TA here as there really seems to be no adequate counterplay for P2 if P1 floats money for a BCopter instead of building the first tank. If P2 builds a tank before P1 builds the Copter, P2 is in trouble already. Even if P2 floats money, too, it's rather ineffective as AAs are hindered too much by the terrain so the BCopter from P1 should get in at least one free attack and/or hamper P2's capture phase. If P2 goes BCopter, too, P1's Copter can sit in the middle first and exert a lot of pressure anyway. Also, if P1 floats money for a Copter, they can still afford a tank+Inf next turn if they went for fastest income, so the strat doesn't even hamper build order too much. Moved to B-rank and removed from Live for now - I agree that the airport needs to be nerfed (either moved or blocked off with pipe tiles). |
