Further "improvement" of Cell Saga 16p. (https://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=112107) In the original map, the center armies were in the most danger, as they were flanked on all sides. Conversely, the corner armies would be in the least danger. Whilst the army placements seem to have attempted to combat this obvious inequality (and also FTA by punishing the first 4 armies and rewarding the last 4 armies on the turn order list), I believe that this gives the 4 corner armies too much of an advantage, whilst penalizing the 4 center armies too much. FTA would be an advantage the first players indeed have, but the unsafe situation they find themselves in is too much of a counter, and seemingly gives "last turn advantage". To combat this, I added teleport tiles on the edges. This increases the risk of being on the edge of the board, and eliminates the advantage being in a corner would provide. However, it is not clear if this added geometry once again gives the firsts players too much of an advantage, as they would now *only* be flanked by 8 armies instead of potentially 11. If this is an issue, a possible (and easy) solution would be to simply swap the HQ of the center armies and the corner armies so that they have relative safety as compensation for going last. The teleport tiles are 3 tiles wide, to reduce the chances of blockading the tiles and rendering them unusable. It is still possible, but requires a bit more work. |

Yup this map is super funny right now because no one cane capture a factory to start making units as it is now If you just gave each faction 1 factory to start this wouldnt happen in future revisions |
