This map is intended for fog. Vers 1.1 Altered the pipe seam reinforcing the middle to only open up to a lone shoal, requiring a transport unit to reinforce the middle. The old route was far too fast to reinforce. Replaced a sea tile with a shoal tile in the far corners close to the comm towers. The double sea tile side by side made it far too easy to fit an indirect unit and completely lock down the area with no threat of retaliation. Altered the strong side base reinforcement lines to slow them down. Before there was a single forest then free shoal that almost lead straight into the middle. This should slow things down & require more thoughtful use of the transports. |

Towers are very contested. Not sure it is such a good thing in FoW. |

I personally love that the towers are contested. Different from most of the global league fog maps. |

I think the whole area from the corner to the comm tower to the HQ needs a rework, there doesn't seem to be much contested properties. If the 1b wants to stall and lock down the only somewhat contested, they can with 1 arty in front of HQ nicely defended with silo/forest/city and another arty to lock down comm. So I think it'd stall pretty hard. I do like the lander/bboat ideas but when it shrinks the map so much it can also simply contribute to stalling as it's easy to respond to all threats, plus they're blockers. |
