Some comments on my goals with this map. 1. Somewhat exposed HQ's. I considered putting BB's on the HQ's, but decided against it to allow for slightly cheesy infantry tactics. The HQ is absolutely your weak side and is harder to reinforce if the opponent swarms around the edges, so you want to keep it protected by a minimum of one infantry. 2. The airport was originally going to be locked by pipe seams. Instead, I made it available immediately, but you can blast open a pipe seam to give your air units a more direct path to the enemy. 3. The forward starting base has a perfect spot to slap down a rocket. If you move the rocket into the mountains at [05, 06] or [11, 10] you'll have coverage over the center and the comm tower. 4. Lash is really really strong here. So is Sami. They should probably be banned. Kindle is a tossup but generally I think she's also pretty good here. 5. The unowned base can spawn an artillery and move toward that plains tile just above the city to the side, and it can start blasting the seam. 6. Finally, there's room for lander and black boat play. Maaaaybe even an airport lock for the enemy if you want to blow 30k on a Carrier. I don't recommend that.
