Besides the fact that some countries are able to move units from bases into landers a lot faster, it's fine. |

why is OS the closest to the shoals of the middle island (other then YC) and also has the closest bases to its port...?...and green is the farthest?..and yellow has to go over a bunch of mountains to get to an airport? as of now i give it a 6...but i would change green with orange and move some of yellows bases closer to its port.....then i think it would be an 8....very well set up other then the army locations... |

Recommended CO's: Drake Naval battle is recommended. Capturing the airports in the middle of the map is crucial. If you are OS you can land on the mainland before your enemies and GE has the seaport far away from his/her base. Mountains can be used in fog of war to see through out the battle and there is many forests to take cover in. Cruisers will prove to be vital in this map. |

Green does have that disadvantage, but I've just noticed that you can drop an Infantry off so that it reaches the airport the next turn, which is pretty cool. |

This map has a serios FTDA (first turn disadvantage). lol. But I will still say that if Warbucket isn't the best map.... this might be it. I love how there isn't a lot of money to spend so you can't waste money. The game I'm in now has 2 drakes and 2 hawkes. So you can imagine how important money is in our game. I also love how it is difficult to know what is happening elsewhere in the map... lots of questions, lots of thinking, lots of strat. . I like it!!! I'm usually against banning CO's (except Sensei if there are lot's of cities) but I recommend banning Hachi and Colin and keep it simple. |

I don't understand why blue and green easily get the airports. Is this map intended for team games? Add stealth to the equation and it's ridiculous since the players w/o airports can't build fighters. No stealth and it's a pretty good map. I like the concept of the map, for sure. Maybe I'm talking out my ass. There's not a lot of property on the map so maybe no one can afford stealth. Time, and a lot of bloodshed, will tell... |
