eFXM (10/28/2022 06:34am):
Inspired by a custom map from the strategy game World of Warcraft 3 that I played a lot when I was younger. That map was probably an adaptation of the board game Risk. Occupy more bases for a higher influx of funds and dominate the world! I can imagine that FOG on or off is possible, HF might be interesting to have more expensive units on the field (if all bases are equally distributed, everyone has 6k income). Map design follows a mix of being true to the real world map and trying to be playable. As I am no expert in map design, constructive tips and inputs are always appreciated if you like the game concept. The map is surely not fair regarding placement of bases and starting units (again, tips are welcomed), therefore it might be fun to counterbalance this by forging alliances in a game via the message function. But of course in the spirit of risk, be careful who to trust and when to backstab. |

You know how in risk defenders have the advantage with 3 dice, to sort of implement that concept would be hard but maybe placing groups of silo tiles where the "cities" and "capitals" would be. idk. cool map. |
