Boh-Walker (11/09/2022 04:14am):
This map is intended for Fog of War. By using the pre-deployed fighter, you can pick one of two options for your opponent: - Stealth + t-copter - Black bomb + b-copter Whichever compartment is not destroyed can then be released by breaking the seam with the pre-deployed artillery. Once you pick an option, it can not be reversed, as the fighter starts on a non-breakable pipe seam. After the fighter clears the opponents' units in the selected compartment, it can be used to scout the bases/airports on that side. Note that each side has APCs that give the fighter vision on its targets, prevent the stealth or bbomb from first-striking the fighter, and also allow the fighter to be refueled afterwards. The fighter can be cleared later using a missile or your own fighter. You can also capture the extra properties that it is protecting by doing so. |

I don't understand. I thought APCs have a vision range of 1. How can you see your targets without... Edit: I thought each player's bases were two spaces from the Stealths and black bombs so that when you built infantry, your fighter's targets would be visible. But no, your fighter is on the other side of the map and receives no such benefit. How can you see the black bomb or Stealth before it explodes or hides? An interesting fog map with a lot of CO meter charge to start off. Even if you get a Stealth out of there, you still have to build an APC to refuel it for any meaningful use. |
