Map name is basically meant to explain why all the water is causing abundant forest growth except for that of lake in the centre =P Anyway, I wanted to create an extreme 'weak side, strong side' dynamic where terrain and distance combined cause difficulty in trying to reinforce the former with the latter. |

Neither I nor other player bothered with a lander in playtest - idea is that such makes for the easiest way to reinforce your weak side or even HQ from your strong side, though the 'path' to do so is deliberately 7 tiles' distance - so have added a big incentive to buy one. If two tanks is a bit excessive (14k for a 12k+1 turn 'investment', I was thinking along the lines of, but maybe it's more of a units count thing) then I'm more than happy to reduce it to one tank or maybe tank+recon/mech/inf :-) |
