It's pretty balanced, but one problem. Brown Desert can grab the base by it in turn 3, while it
takes till day 4 for everyone else to get it.

ok once the game finishes i should know approximately what will make it a better map.
cause i agree it isn't that bad as is. but ould use a lot of improvement

i'm thinking of switching Grey sky with OS and switching BM with BH and GE takes RF's
spot but BD takes GE's spot giving the last player the spot that BD is in now

fixed it i think. comment if you see anything else wrong. i have BD last and closest to the
base cause he goes last. it takes away from the lst turn disadvantage, and i gave the later
countries the advantage of being in a corner.

now to figure out bad or too powerful CO's.
Lash, Grit, Sami, Sensei, and surprisingly Olaf are way too powerful.
Jess, is the only CO that i can think of that is too weak

GE and BM are gonna start fighting right away. and the other countries are gonna be slowly
fighting. someone try this map out with FOW on. i can't cause i'm going on a trip

well BH does get one way in and one way out. gives them both a easy defendable HQ but
slows their land units for awhile. naturally they will use a little more mechs and infantry then
the other countries. but to get into their territory is to climb a mountain. it jsut doesn't work
really well. for BH they can use a recon and three artillary (two rockets if your using Max)
and now your opponent can't get vehicle units into your HQ area. add a couple more all
around your territory, and no matter what CO your using. you now have a HQ territory that
can't be breached except with an entire army of mechs (infantry wouldn't slow the
artillary/rockets enough)

so Jace, although BH is a little trapped that is also theri advantage. just like BMs vulnerability
to OS and GS. that can also be an advantage.

allies are actually very helpful on this map. if you can get the person to the inside of you
smashed with you and an ally now you gotta fight your ally for the precious bases. and on
this map, bases and airports are everything

i took a look at the games being played on this map and so far only Hawke shows up as a
CO that lots of ppl seem to want to use. pretty much every other CO shows up in the games.
this makes me happy. i don't think any CO has an advantage....except forGrit. but thats only
if your army consist of 1/6 infantry, 3/6 artillary, 1/6 recon, and 1/6 APC

Grit does have an advantage here, but only a small one. I personally like how the OS HQ is
set up. Very good for a defense, if not as good as BH. They'll need it as they will get
pressure early. Anyway, nice map. 9/10

Neyvelion, laughing_corpse, do either of you even see how this map flows?

a map isn't rated jsut because of how the map is laid out. you rate a map based on how well
a game would be. for example.each country has advantages and disadvantages. no country
has a surefire way of winning quickly. each country has the option of targetting a single
payer and losing their HQ in the process.

maps are rated because of how well or bad they end up playing. no matter if it looks good or
bad. if the play-level is intricate and the game can last a logn time then thats a good map.
with the addition of teams this map gets even more complicated.

teaming up and forcing your opponents to chose what to build. mechs are really good. but
slow compared to infantry in the long run.

Anti-air are strong but not against tanks, which lose to mechs, and the mighty Battle copter
needs to worry about finding an anti-air as they patrol for weaker units to prey on. this is a
really good map.

attack. and go last. it makes sense that they get the base a turn early.

BM has easy access to 3 bases, and OS has almost as easy access to 3 bases. BD having a
base in 1 turn isn't an advantage when you look at how few bases are around them.

You should probably move countries according to turn order. So the best spot to whoever
moves last, etc. BM is the best, followed by GE (relatively easy access to 4 bases), OS,
and BS. Moving a base close to GE closer to YC would make the map more balanced.

no roads added.
however this is the edittable version due to not being given this first one back, country
placement still under development, also the amount of Com towers, and the placement of the
Airports and bases.
