While playing on Escaping Arkham - https://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=57421 - I thought it a shame that the corners weren't made using inwardly-oriented ghosted factories as the piperunners on that map are able to set themselves up in the corners and so be untargetable - except by land indirects or other piperunners that they'd therefore get the first shot off on as long as they were in position first - made them pretty strong, especially with the comm towers being in piperunner range from those corners. Add in a desire to have that base also able to produce usable infantry and then that progress into an idea to incorporate a port for possible landers so to use that base for more than just infantry and you get this map, I guess! The FTA is probably not balanced, so I'll likely have to make the 'piperunner base' neutral and delete each side's pre-deployed inf unit on/next-to it, in which case I'll probably make the empty silo there a city to make sending an inf down there instead of to the fronts early a worthwhile 'investment'..and maybe I should also stick a tank there to further incentivise the lander build, though that'd defeat the original purpose a bit...
