When Carla told you she wanted to crash El Gato's wedding, you didn't think she would literally drive the Star Ruler into
the ceremony grounds while gunning down orbital security. You certainly didn't think you'd be fighting anyone today, rather
that you'd be several beers deep within a few hours at the hosted open bar having a relaxing-good time. You survived the
crash -- much of the ship didn't. With a little time, your crew can get some residual systems back online. With a long time,
salvage crews can harvest most of the scrap. In no time, you think of how quickly your starcruiser was absolutely wrecked.
You turn to Carla, queuing up the next words you will use to chew her out, but she is gone.
Where did she go now? Damn that crazy woman!

A beacon on your dashboard pings her location. She's bullet-jumped out just before the crash, commandeered a base, and
cut into the communications network. Between the crash or Carla's surface shenanigans, the power has gone out for the
whole island. Your squad can connect the cities to the ship's deuterium twin-core and restore power, not a problem. You
shelled out the big bucks for that twin-core, powering a few hundred megawatt hours temporarily is a breeze. They appear to
be the only part of the ship that survived intact and online.

"Carla, come in, do you read me? What is the plan?? CARLA!" you shout over the radio comm.

For a moment, as you sit in the wrecked hull of your spacecraft, emergency alarms and lights blaring, ship crews shouting
about repairs, and sparks popping from shattered electronics, you wonder whether to be impressed or extremely
embarrassed. Just what is Carla's plan anyways? She must have some more personal skin in this wedding than you
originally knew. Scrapping an entire ultra-yacht class starcruiser better be worth whatever this accomplishes... you cringe at
the thought of the salvage costs alone.

Static crosses the radio. You click to try to speak to her again, but the dashboard pops with sparks and fizzles out.
While most of the island is in shock, the Syndicate security forces you shot down are rallying on the other side. As long as
you stay ahead of them, nothing says things have to get any crazier. Taking their ship's power cores should buy you time to
come up with an escape. You better go find Carla.
You begin to stand up when you realize your seat is pinned down by some fallen ceiling panels and you have to crawl out
sideways. Oooooooh! Damn!
It's gonna cost you a fortune to build another Star Ruler! ... ... and... El Gato has accumulated many fortunes... ...
... and today, on the day of his wedding, on his isolated private island, his people bring him even more gifts.
Many more gifts...

Oh Carla... you crazy woman...
