Designer here. This is my first map. This map tells a story of two seaside resort towns with lots of beachfront property. The main island is well developed and connects to a smaller island that has also been turned into a tourist destination. There is a third shoal nearby that can be used for more effective communications and additional supplies. To the south lies a large partially developed plot of land that both teams are competing for. Little do they know the sole airport is nested away in the very south hidden amongst the mountains and forests. Aside from the comm tower each team has on their extra shoal there is a third tower on the southern island as well as a fourth tower alone on the high seas. This map was designed to encourage more naval combat (hence the large number or properties to help with the expense), but also reward the team that takes the airport with a significant boon. Beware of the rocket pads as they don't just sent tourists into space, but they can devastate warships on the seas. Note: I did the math and yes you can lock down the airport with a carrier in case you win the battle on the sea, but lose the airport and need to delay it being used. |
