The battle for Middle Earth and the quest to destroy The Ring in the fires of Mordor where it was forged.
Will Sauron and his allies conquer the land and reign supreme? Or will the forces of good rally their bravery and push them
back into Mordor? Not every player will survive to the end, but for your team and cause can you strive to make a difference!
It's a race against time as the dark forces grow stronger and hope seems lost -- unless a pair of unassuming hobbits can
bring The One Ring to Mount Doom and complete their quest in time...

"Arise, arise, Riders of Théoden!
Fell deeds awake: fire and slaughter!
spear shall be shaken, shield be splintered,
a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises!
Ride now, ride now! Ride to Gondor!" —Théoden, King of Rohan

"A new power is rising. Against it the old allies and policies will not avail us at all. There is no hope left in Elves or dying
Númenor. This then is one choice before you, before us. We may join with that Power. It would be wise, Gandalf. There is
hope that way. Its victory is at hand; and there will be rich reward for those that aided it." —Saruman the White

"The age of Men is over. The time of the Orc has come!"—Gothmog, Lieutenant of Morgul

Strangely enough this map doesn't pop up when one searches "Lotr",
despite the other entries being all caps (as an aside the Helm's Deep map is pretty good).

I don't have a good eye for serious map design, but I enjoyed the one game I've played on here
so far and like what I see.

If you wanted to draw inspiration from BFME, I'd recommend adding a 6th player as the Goblins,
placing them in Mirkwood or northwest from Mordor. (No real room, but then the map does
have a lot of expansion potential).
