Pretty tight fit for 3 players. Plenty of incentive to send infantry (and air units!) to the middle, and no shortage of targets for your piperunner. Hope you don't run out of ammo. The 4 missile silos may be a bit much for a small 3 player map, and it seems like Orange Star drew the short end of the stick by only being able to easily reach the northern missile. Meanwhile, Green Earth has easy access to two missiles and a city. Questionable balancing there... Sturm is a must-ban for the center alone, and Javier breaks the map if he gets a second tower. Sami is also probably really strong here, as the fronts seem small enough she can mech spam to defend territory. |

Would you make the com towers uncontested then? I can rebalance the missiles maybe I should move the green pipeseam lower maybe just give each player one easy missile and 2 city's close to them in the middle? |

Yea I think one missile is enough. Having more than one can easily ruin a balanced match. Comm towers are probably fine where they are because it gives you incentive to push up. There isn't much space to go because the fronts are small. I think the pipe seams should be at least one infantry move away from any bases so nobody gets a head start in the middle. It's fine to have some more seams because there already is some FTA from piperunners spawn camping enemy bases. The piperunners may be better on the outside of the map rather than the inside, and never bring in a position where they can lock enemy bases. But at least on the outside if they're exposed there's always a degree of risk when moving them. |

fixed the issues, removed the missiles opened up more pipe seams and increased the city count in the center to incentivize air warfare |

GE is missing an airport. Also, doesn't seem like GE can contest/threaten OS's Comms tower as effectively. All natural Comms towers are 8 squares from the offensive players, but GE has a wood to move into and can only approach from the south, whereas the other 2 towers can more easily be engaged from another compass bearing. I think it's the symmetry of the mountains that are actually holding back the balance. |
