Pretty sure you should ban Javier here |

Firstly, the Lab issue. Many countries only have one lab, but why can BD have four? Then, the missile well issue. Not all countries have missile wells. Factory issues. Most countries have 2 factories, but 3 countries can occupy 4 factories. Communication tower issues. Most countries only have one tower, but why do OS and BD have four? Afraid Javier might not be happy enough? Also, are you sure you're serious about placing a large number of airports next to the Orange Star defense facility? |

Some countries have more power than others but it seems to be somewhat related to turn-order. I don't think it's inherently a bad thing to give some countries a "bigger role" to play than others. That's partly where the optimal strategy comes in. If your teammate has higher production output but you hog all the properties for yourself, that's basically a skill issue / knowledge check that works in Orange Star's favor. Although, in my honest opinion, I would give the peripheral countries more production output and funding because it takes roughly twice as long to move on the diagonal. However, I'm sure the logic was to give the North South East and West countries more freedom because otherwise they'd have their movement too restricted by their neighboring teammates. The extra funds and production output effectively give them more wiggle room. Like most "boss battle" type matches, the odds are heavily stacked against the boss player especially as time goes on and especially if CO powers are in play. Having 4 towers doesn't quite mean anything if you're being hit with universal damage and losing 80% of your fuel every turn cycle. Ultimately, the game is not whether or not OS will win but rather who will defeat him first. It's possible OS could win by choosing to push East or West AGGRESSIVELY and claiming each country 1 after another, but I doubt anyone could pull it off. In closing, this looks like a fun map with decent unit variety and for that I give it an honorary 9 outta 10 for effort. |
