Oh look there's terrain now! |

Looks a lot more interesting now, but I think an airport nerf is warranted as well here since BCopters can reinforce every front equally quickly. I think it would be better if Copters could just reach just one of the fronts fast so there's more of a strong side/weak side dynamic. |

Admittedly a little less subtle than I usually like to fix issues like that but I think this definitely forces copters to be way more vulnerable if they want to reach the opposite side quickly. |

GE changed to GS after feedback; no layout changes otherwise. |

Slight FTA concern regarding the contested area: p1 can city sit on (05,03) with their first tank and prevent p2's inf from capping, whereas p2 cant because p2's first tank is just a tad bit too slow to do the same. In my game i had to get my tank first struck by opponent's tank just to deny (14,11). Analyzing this retroactively that was very suboptimal and i shouldn't have done that because p2's reinforcement towards the bottom is slower than p1's. I also concluded that the best way to counteract this is p2 has just to chain their tank fighting for (05,03) while p1 gets their (14,11) for free Here's the link of the game: https://awbw.amarriner.com/game.php?games_id=1474495&ndx=NaN&ndx=11 |

Moved to B-rank as unfortunately the map is quite stally - partly due to the choky terrain, partly due to the flexibility of the 1b1a. EDIT: Back to New after changes |

So the new version actually has a higher base distance (4+ tank turns) which makes it not Live-eligible. It also is a bit stally since tanks can move ahead of the Infs quite a bit and fighting is unlikely to start before day 8 (and it likely only starts then if someone puts a tank in the wrong position). It's also a bit strange that P2 is ahead on the 1b since you can certainly argue that the 1b1a is stronger. So this version is maybe a bit better than the old one because it eliminates a lot of the chokiness, however it still is quite slow. Solid B for me. |
