Rome has fallen, millions must die. Now with 20% more backstabbing. Based on the Mediterranean, around the year 450 AD losely inspired by Rome's map (https://www.worldhistory.org/uploads/images/14250.png?v=1677106688), in which Rome's falling apart, so their good's are up for the Empires or factions around it, which are the following: - 450AD/Today OS: Toledo, Visigoth Kingdom/Madrid, Spain BM: Hun Empire/Minsk, Belarus GE: Thuringii/Berlin, Germany YC: Tripolitana, Vandals/Tripoli, Libya BH: Ancyra, Bizantine Empire (Western Roman Empire)/Ankara, Turkey BD: Alexandria, Bizantine Empire (Monophysites)/Alexandria, Egypt AB: Tangier, Mauretanians/Tangier, Morocco JS: Serdika, Bizantine Empire (Destroyed by Huns by 450)/Sofia, Bulgaria PL: Orleans, Syagrus/Orleans, Paris Recommended settings: To be played in FFA, works with standard settings, Fog, or High Funds. Set Mega Tanks to be unlocked from capturing labs. Recomended tiers: T0: Hachi, Colin T1: Hawke, Kanbei, Sensei, Grit, Drake, Javier T2: Eagle, Kindle, Olaf, Nell, Sasha (It's like playing w/out COPs), Von Bolt, Sturm T3: Andy, Lash, Max, Rachel, Sami, Adder, Flak, Grimm, Jake, Jess, Jugger, Sonja No FTA changes, BM has more cities to represent the Huns and since they are the furthest away from Rome. Enjoy! |

This map has too many comm towers. If everybody has one, the reward for eliminating an opponent is already huge, let alone chaining multiple eliminations and stacking more than 2 towers. Either remove the neutral comm towers, or remove everybody's pre owned towers. If you insist on keeping this many towers, I recommend isolating the pre owned towers on the side of the map so that the only way to take another player's is by capturing their HQ. On that note, Javier needs to be banned here. Taking out just one opponent and getting 2 towers makes all of his units broken. Italy is too easy to defend for the first player to reach it, and the neutral base is simply overkill. The lack of shoals make the territory easy enough to defend as is without constantly building reinforcements from it. Having a funds advantage and an extra port in a map without airports is already enough of a boost. |

@Meta Rexy Well the comm towers per player was a bit of a last second "experimental" thing, trying to take a page out of league games that focus on more aggressive figths, however because this is a beta I though of making them neutral (So you have to capture them, still in the same position) or outright removing them, but I agree with comm towers Javier is either T1 or even T0. On Italy, I believe that since the land access is divided, with OS, PL, GE, and JS they'd have to fight before getting in, and in the sea it is between AB, YC, BD, and BH, so I doubt whoever goes there alone will be able to single handely take the base, unless it is late game and some players have been defeated, it is going to get locked in by other players through land or by battleships on the sea. You are right about the lack of shoals and that is my bad, I will add more shoals when there is a final version of the map. so the Africa/Middle East Players can land easier. |
