Don't worry too much about the towers. You can take it back, be patient. And send 2 infantry. Also Sami doesn't need to baseskip she can block with infantry. |

the airports make the map interesting, usually the weak base is the base without airport, but here both lone bases have an airport so there's no clear target for base killing, both are options |

I don't know why people bother making vertical maps, if you like them so much ask for a feature to invert Y and X axis (this would also be good for maps like these and normal people that don't like vertical maps) |

You can totally cheese the towers with copters. If someone builds a bcopter on their airport close to your tower, you only have 1 turn to prevent them from locking your tower down. The copter is only vulnerable for one turn if it moves directly from the airport to the mountain adjacent to a silo and forest. If you make an AA in response to the copter being built, the copter will be on the mountain and your AA wont have the movement to kill it. This means that if you don't actively physically block the opponent or preemptively commit 8k gold to the area you are constantly under threat of the tower being unable to be captured unless you build a MISSILE. Because the map is designed the way it is, you can't use your own airports to respond to this. Your only airports lie on the opposite side of your opponents bases - theyd have to be able to fly through them without being destroyed to get to the tower. So the only thing you can do is build a missile or hope youre able to fly a copter past your opponents bases to unlock the tower. |

Playing some more of this, I love all the potential fronts it creates. It reallys gets your brain thinking of where to best spend funds and how to position your units to cover the most flanks. |

Why do 8/10 mixed base maps suck so bad? “Let’s make a map where movement is crippled and you have to completely rely on copters and AA oh an 4 com towers why not but one of them can be copter locked” So much fun |
