Much more balanced now. I would just recommend giving BH access to another airport. A good location would be on the SW side of the mountain ridge which is to the left of the neutral bases south of the BH HQ. (i.e. 3 left, 2 down or 5 left, 1 down from the leftmost neutral base near the BH HQ). The current BH airport is a bit to isolated to make much of a difference in the battle for the top left corner. |

Probably, yea I will that is a very good area you pointed out, by the way. I was just about to say "I'm in a middle of a game right now" but the person I was fighting did not succeed in completeing his turn within a week (my average 'boot interval' time) so yea... Oh and be sure to look for my coming soon map.. It's going to be a 3p map so yea... I think it's good... |

Okay, this is a simple 2p map. Every "City" has a Base somewhere and the central "City" is the only one that has two. BH has the slight advantage of having a Battleship and having two Airports in it's "territory", especially the norternmost Airport. With GE, the advantage is that no Vehicle land unit can go on top of the HQ and "hold it" and as an addition the "City" to the West of the HQ has a Base and two Airports. This is a great FoW map too! Forest enshrouds "Citys" to make unexpected ambushes when the enemy team is capturing properties. Mechs can cross the mountans easily and get a vision range bonus. The "Canyon" by GE is an excellent place to take cover. Multiple paths and chokepoints and not many roads can limit Recon or Missle powers. Sensei or Grit make a good CO to fight in this battle, Grit can hide and fire or if you're Sensei, advance a fleet of Mechs and BCptrs but because of Lashes "Terrain advantage bug" (the one that also effects air units) BCptrs and Mechs are good too (with addition to her SCOP that makes her a Godess in battle by doubling her terrain defence and advantages and puting all units without any terrain penalties... Hachi has advantages here with his SCOP (which basically scares the living crap out of me)... Colin here is good too if he ever can capture enough Cities... Sami can do good with all her soldiers and transport units... and since it is a big map with many Bases with units coming out every day, Hawke can make a huge impact of gameplay too.. but I say Olaf and Drake here are not even funny... Hope you have fun with this map and play many games in it.. and stuff.. -DarkPhantom |
