Because of turn order. duh
an old map of europe i had drawn up (different from my other one) stored away that i found while organizing files on my pc.
so here it is, improved or whatever.

Nice map, but I think you lost a lot of territory in Africa, you could have used that territory to expand the landscape in eastern
and northern Europe.
