Looks really interesting - however, if I'm not mistaken, P2 can interrupt P1's cap of the (05,07) neutral base with their 2nd Infantry from the 2b when using the BBoat while they can still cap their neutral base with the first Inf (for P1 to interrupt P2's base cap, they would have to load their first 2b Inf into the BBoat, meaning they can't go for the (05,07) base immediately). Now P1 could block the (07,09) shoal with their 2nd BBoat to prevent a P2 Inf from interrupting their neutral base cap, but that opens the way for P2 to cap the center base instead, so it's not an ideal response either. So I think there's some STA in the opening if the BBoat is used because it almost forces a 2b Recon from P1 and leaves P2 in a way better position early on IMO. Also, (13,14) and (14,13) look like very good Rocket parking spots but probably they aren't as good in practice as they seem in theory. |
