Putting this under review for the sole purpose of gathering more data on the singular base map archetype.

I feel like putting an extra orange city on the enemy side goes way too far when it comes to FTA counter. It forces the black
faction to capture that city first while the orange one can freely go for the airport instead, which is obviously better than a
regular city. Also creates an income imbalance for really no reason. The extra infantry in the bottom right of the map was
already enough. And we see this based on the 80/20 win rate.

It's a standard high funds ta counter admittedly on a non standard map
jokx (05/02/2025 08:22pm):
Yeah because in this map it wrecks everything imo. Player 2 can build a t-copter in the north as well as an infantry in the
south on the same turn before player 1 can even afford a t-copter alone. And right after player 2 builds that t-copter and
infantry (on the same turn), player 1 can only afford one or the other, so it can't contribute to both fronts at once on the same
turn, unlike player 2.
Combine that with the pre-deployed infantry that starts in the south for player 2 and it leads to player 2 being able to reach
both fronts, north and south, before player 1 can. And even after reaching them, there's a lot of reinforcements that are on
their way because player 2 could afford to build infantries on every turn in the south base and their footsoldiers reach the
north base faster thanks to the t-copter. And thus the rest of the match snowballs into a victory for player 2.

So far, player 2 won 10 games and player 1 won a single game if we don't count the one that ended on day 4 (which is
obviously due to player 2 quitting prematurely or running out of time. Either way the outcome of the game shouldn't count
towards the data). I feel like this warrants a change in the balancing because right now it's not balanced at all, which is a
shame because the map is really freaking cool. I'd like to play another game on it, but it'll either lead to me getting wrecked if
I'm player 1 or feel like an undeserved landslide victory if I'm player 2

Have made another round of changes to the TA counter

The frontline is quite short and there's about two to four contested properties. Also, because the frontline is so short, players will probably just build Copters/AAs/tanks and send them towards the middle early on, making attacks unfavorable for some time at least (unless misplays happen - but since you have only one base, conserving your vehicles should be paramount which somewhat discourages attacks/trading). So this might stall, too, at least in the beginning. I will give it bonus points for creativity though. The concept may be worth revisiting on a bigger map in the future.
