Removed from Live due to early capture skip strats that only P1 can utilize without changing the intended BAAB tank order. |

The bboat position should be moved one tile closer to the base so that it is symmetric for the base that's ahead. Currently P1 can transport their 2nd inf, while P2 can transport at earliest their 3rd. I also think there are some serious issues with how contested the center is, with potential tank chaining TA exacerbated by what Monty noted above. In general this map would be better if access to the center was restricted, in my opinion. |

2nd review: So P1 still has 1000 leftover gold after getting the BAA tanks. With this setup, it's a problem I think - specifically because the BBoat allows the Infantry to spread out early on, but P1 can be more aggressive while doing so. So it effectively means that P1 is 1) free to interrupt one of P2's caps instead of capping a property because they don't immediately need the 1000 gold they lose out on AND 2) not negatively impacted when P2 interrupts one of their caps early on (whereas P2 loses out on their first tank if they do it too early). For example, this means that P1 can go grab one of the center cities immediately, but P2 cannot mirror that because then P1 is free to cancel their cap and interrupt to make P2 lose out on the first tank whereas P1 is not nearly impacted as negatively. So I'd say the city skip opportunity for P1 should probably be removed. Also, the middle could be redesigned and / or the BBoat could maybe be moved further back so that it comes into play later? |
