Description:
--In this asymmetric map, inspired by the bronze-age era Fertile Crescent, 12 players choose between 6 civilizations or 6 city-states as they seek to reestablish the imperial lineage of a long forgotten Empire. The civilizations and city-states are spread to increase player interaction, diplomacy, and intrigue.

--Each civilization (Yellow, Grey, Desert, Amber, Jade, and Acid) starts with two capturable bases but no cities. However, they have a tech tree at the bottom that allows for larger long-term income, firepower, and tech units. Will you chose to lead a league of city states to victory over your rival civilizations, or will you engage in all-out domination in your quest for power?

--Each city-state (Orange, Blue, Green, Red, Black, Teal, and Purple) begins with only one base but several starting cities. Will you form a city-state alliance to overthrow the imperial civilizations? Or, will you become a loyal vassal of a mighty nation, thwarting your city state rivals in pursuit of victory?

Objectives:
--Consolidate your imperial power by eliminating rivals to the legacy!

Rules:
0. Standard, Low-Funds, Clear
1. Lab Units: Tanks, Artillery, Medium Tanks, Neo Tanks, Rockets, Mega Tanks
2. Ban: Subs, Battleships
4. Players are encouraged to roleplay as the leader of their nation

The map does feel a leetle dead, particularly between Blue and Green, but I for one appreciate the unique concept.

You could try giving the civs 3 bases and the states 2, that way both have more leeway with what they want to build.

Thanks for the feedback, Raedel. I think the 3-base/2-base idea would be good to test.

The empty space in the middle was envisioned as the wilderness of the Arabian peninsula but also perhaps serving as a final battleground as civs & states battle over the entrance to the lost Empire.

I agree that the center is a bit of dead zone and in my game didn't amount to much interesting besides
turns spent in transit. The concept for this map however is phenomenal, I played as a small state and it
was a bit refreshing to have a unique team experience like that

I only wish you could become a true team via diplomacy. No way around that though 🤷‍♂️
