I pushed some changes to this FOG map, comparing to the previous design these are the changes: It does solidify the neutral base as the primarily left going base but now it's at least much better at that compared to the preowned base then before, especially with the pipeseam broken. That side is of course the strong side so the preowned shouldn't be hugely weaker on reaching the sides either but in this state the neutral base main purpose "go towards the corner" is beneficiary. The red tank below where the preowned base is would be where it would move towards. Two forests between the preowned and owned have been removed so that the owned base can do something crazy and move through it to get to a placement where it can threaten the contested city next to the silo, emphasis on crazy probably xD. Which also benefits from the seam being broken. The solo base could go towards the left, it can reach quite much but it might be fine seeing then you're sacrificing unit count on your weak side for it. Not sure what that means for RPS problems... Or if it then becomes an HQ race. I do have to say that due to the small middle it'll be tough to front switch, that will mean the middle might be more valuable then the lab and 2 cities hint towards. Seeing how close the 1 base tanks get there it's probably going to be a very rough hotspot. |
