I'd ban sensei on this map, it kind of ruins the whole point of it...
Anyways, uncapturable ports are just there to provide defence for the ships.

There aren't too many factories on the main island, so that should hopefully make players
use landers to carry units from the two middle islands...
Pyrranha (09/26/2006 05:55pm):
Too slow.
jhuni (10/16/2006 01:36pm | Edited: 10/16/2006 03:50pm):
-3 Imbalanced: One infantry is nothing to balance FTA when both sides are getting 8.k $ per
turn, so you need to give CI another cite.
-1 Blocky: those reefs in the plain areas are "ugly," because there blocky.
-1 Terrain variety: Some more reefs are needed because there are many areas of sea that
are 3x3 clumps of plain sea, and there are some that are worse.
-1 The whole center land area is not aesthetically pleasing, its just one big terrain clump.
-1 Uncapturable ports: you have 4 ports out there in the ocean that are totally not capturable,
so you need to add some shoals around them.

Edit: The ports are uncapturable, and theres no sea battle for quite some time because
theres not enough funds to get them working early on, and since there on the other side of
the map black boats and landers don't come into use much because they need infantrys
from the other side of the map. So it is to slow, and the only way your going to be getting
sea units that don't take a very long time to get into action is with the center ports, but since
there in the center those ports will be fought over for a long time.
3/10

The uncapturable ports are there to provide terrain defence and give some strategy to naval
wars.

Good for them the map is still 3/10 Not aesthetically pleasing, or balanced.
DuelStriker (08/09/2007 09:58am):
This is a great map bakabonest. I completely disagree with jhuni. The terraining is fine and
the defense ports are interesting. It's perfectly balanced and playable. I give it a 9/10
Nyvelion (08/06/2012 04:14pm):
I see no bridges on this map!

Also, I disagree with Juigi out of habit. Though he is right about the uncapturable ports.
