Wow I really like this base setup concept. My only thought is whether the island base could have an extra tile so a unit can
wait there until next turn for bboat (or lander) to come back and pick up 2 units. But, currently is fine as well, as it
incentivizes building 2 transports most likely bboat and tcopter, and helps get inf numbers out and into frontlines quickly, and
you can pre-load the 1st unit in the bboat as it waits on the shoal, then build and load the 2nd unit next turn.

2 pre owned labs for each team is better than 1 pre owned lab which will stop lab rushing. I notice the center has 1 neutral
lab. The idea of having a neutral base on the island is a commitment which of course you will later need for more ground
troops. If the map had a pre built transport that would determine how you would transport units from the base island have
when to use it and how often you’re going to use it. I know you want something different with the island base but you could
do some river or mountain tiles instead of sea tiles so men can walk from it on 1/2 of its turns. It could lead to just men
coming from that base if the boat isn’t there.

You could do 2 mechs versus 1 mech and pink get rid of pre on city.

Love the island base concept, a good incentive to build landers. Comm towers are quite
contested too.
